With a background in luxury hospitality, exclusive travel, and storytelling, and a lifetime spent exploring remote frontiers, Karla founded The Journey Atelier to bridge the space between refined luxury and genuine authenticity. Her vision is grounded in the philosophy of slow travel — the art of presence, where journeys unfold with intention and meaningful connections are formed with places, people, and cultures. Working closely with private clients, she curates behind-the-scenes access and exceptional experiences, supported by the finest private guides and local experts in each destination.
